Today, New Democrat Coalition Action Fund Chair Greg Stanton (AZ-04) released a statement after NDAF-endorsed candidates Bob Harvie (PA-01), Janelle Stelson (PA-10), and Paige Cognetti (PA-08) won the nominations in their respective races.
“I’m fired up for all of our winners in Pennsylvania tonight. New Dem candidates and incumbents continue rolling through this primary season on our way to delivering the majority in November,” said Action Fund Chair Greg Stanton. “Tough districts require tough candidates. New Dems will continue to throw the full weight of our operation behind the challengers we know can emerge through crowded primaries, win general elections, and eventually deliver real solutions as New Dem Members in the 120th Congress.”
This cycle, New Dems are endorsing candidates early and often in the districts that will determine the House majority. New Dem-endorsed candidates have a 100% success rate in primaries so far in the midterm election cycle, with Bob Harvie and Janelle Stelson joining recent victors Denise Powell in Nebraska and Melissa Bean in Illinois.
