New Dems have now endorsed 21 candidates, including every member of the DCCC’s Red to Blue list
Today, the New Democrat Coalition Action Fund endorsed six additional candidates working to flip critical seats and hold Democratic ground across the country: Jessica Killin (CO-05), Donna Miller (IL-02), Sean McCann (MI-04), Jamie Ager (NC-11), Chaz Molder (TN-05), and Johnny Garcia (TX-35).
This slate brings the total New Dem endorsement list to 21 candidates, and with the addition of Chaz Molder, Jamie Ager, and Sean McCann, New Dem-endorsed candidates now make up the entirety of DCCC’s initial Red to Blue list for this cycle. New Dems continue to expand our presence across the battlefield to ensure our candidates deliver the House majority in November.
“I couldn’t be more excited to welcome these six exceptional candidates into the New Dem movement. We are gaining momentum in primaries coast to coast and moving full steam ahead toward the general election,” said Action Fund Chair Greg Stanton (AZ-04). “These women and men are running smart campaigns in some of the toughest districts in the country, building coalitions with the broad support and commonsense messages that will win in November. They embody what makes New Dems the ‘majority makers’, and I’ll be proud to welcome them to Congress next year.”
"The people of El Paso County are sick and tired of hyperpartisanship and political games. They want and deserve real results,” said Jessica Killin. “That is why I’m proud to receive the endorsement of the NewDem Action Fund. This coalition is focused on creating an economy that works for all Americans, not just a lucky few. I look forward to working with them in Congress to develop meaningful solutions to the cost-of-living crisis impacting our community and our country."
“I’m honored to receive the endorsement of the NewDem Action Fund. Taking back Congress is critical to stopping the current administration’s harmful policies and delivering real results for the American people,” said Donna Miller. “Democrats are focused on what matters most—lowering costs, expanding access to health care, and creating good-paying jobs. I’m proud to partner with New Dems to advance policies that grow our economy and ensure every American has the opportunity to thrive.”
“I am grateful for the support of the New Democrat Coalition in my campaign to flip Michigan’s 4th Congressional District,” said Sean McCann. “Throughout my career, I always focused on getting things done, not divisiveness. I’ve delivered for Michigan families by expanding Medicaid and the Working Families Tax Credit and repealing the Senior Retirement Tax. In Congress, I will keep showing up for the people of Southwest Michigan so all our families can achieve the American Dream.”
"People are tired of business as usual and politicians who talk past their problems,” said Jamie Ager. “That's why I’m proud to join this coalition focused on practical solutions — lowering costs, creating good jobs, and working with anyone willing to deliver real results for working families."
“I am honored to have the support of the NewDem Action Fund. The New Democrat Coalition's commitment to pragmatic, solutions-oriented governance aligns directly with what the people of Tennessee's Fifth Congressional District deserve,” said Chaz Molder. It's the same approach I've utilized as my community's youngest-ever Mayor, and the same way I will govern when elected to Congress: bring people to the table, listen, and solve actual problems. That’s how you run a city. That’s how you serve neighbors. And that’s how we should govern in Washington.”
“I’m honored to have received the endorsement of the NewDem Action Fund,” said Johnny Garcia. “Growing up, my mother taught me a saying I still live by today: ‘No me den nada en las manos, solo denme la oportunidad de luchar por ello’ — ‘I’m not asking for handouts, just an opportunity to fight for you and your family.’ And that’s the fighting spirit of this campaign. The New Dems believe in fighting for opportunity, fighting for working families, and fighting to ensure every family has a fair shot at the American dream — and that’s exactly what I’ll keep fighting for in Congress.”
