Today, New Democrat Coalition Action Fund Chair Greg Stanton (AZ-04) announced the release of the group’s Cost of Living Blueprint, a comprehensive legislative agenda of commonsense policies designed to tackle the affordability crisis in America and unite the group’s endorsed candidates and incumbent Members behind a winning platform for the November election.
“The high costs and chaos of Donald Trump and Congressional Republicans’ extreme economic agenda have been a disaster for the middle class since day one,” said Stanton. “More than one year in, hardworking people are paying more at the doctor’s office, the grocery store, and the pump. People are fed up, and they’re tired of paying the price of House Republicans’ backward economic agenda. Affordability remains the top issue in the upcoming midterm elections. The New Dems’ Cost of Living Blueprint relies on four essential promises to the American people that we will fight for in a Democratic majority: we will lower your utility bill, lower your health care costs, lower your housing costs, and lower your everyday family costs.
