New Dems have now endorsed nine candidates ahead of 2026, including Joanna Mendoza, Paige Cognetti, Christina Bohannan, Rebecca Cooke, and Janelle Stelson, in addition to this slate
Today, the New Democrat Coalition Action Fund announced its endorsement of four candidates seeking to flip critical House seats in the 2026 midterm elections, Ben McAdams in Utah’s First, Dr. Jasmeet Bains in California’s Twenty-first, Jonathan Nez in Arizona’s Second, and Sarah Trone Garriott in Iowa’s Third. With Democrats overperforming across the map in 2025, NewDems are getting involved early in crucial primary races to produce the best general election candidates and expand the map come next November.
“The four candidates we’ve endorsed today are champions of the commonsense, pocketbook-focused message NewDems know is the key to a Democratic victory in 2026,” said New Dem Action Fund Chair Greg Stanton (AZ-04). “Each of these exceptional leaders has the skills, determination, and experience to run a strong race and communicate a winning message to working-class voters. As New Dems continue to grow our roster of Red-to-Blue candidates, we are laser-focused on providing them with the resources they need to win and retake the majority.”
