“Tonight, the American people learned who Tim Walz would put first in office – and who JD Vance would leave behind.
“Governor Walz showed that he and Vice President Kamala Harris would fight for hardworking families by lowering costs on everything from housing and health care, safeguarding personal freedoms and our democracy, curbing violence in our communities, and investing in the jobs and industries of the future.
“Meanwhile, JD Vance showed that he and Donald Trump would always put their extremist agenda over the American people. They’d further erode women’s reproductive freedoms, attack truth and democracy, use the southern border as a political prop, and take money out of the pockets of the middle class to stuff the wallets of the wealthiest among us.
“The choice could not be more clear: Tim Walz and Kamala Harris are the strong, compassionate, forward-looking leaders America needs. With 35 days to go, New Dems are proud to fight alongside them to win the White House and take back the House.”
