Today, New Democrat Coalition Action Fund (NDAF) Chair Greg Stanton (AZ-04) issued a statement in response to the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision in NRSC v. FEC, rewriting campaign finance laws that safeguard against corruption in our elections.
“House Republicans can’t win on their record, so they’re rewriting the rules in the middle of the game. They ripped away healthcare from millions, jacked up the cost of gas and groceries, and entangled us in another foreign war. Now they’re asking billionaires to bail them out before November.
“Every week it seems Trump and his MAGA allies find new ways to try to take voters out of the equation because they know the Republican brand is toxic, their candidates are weak, and they can't raise enough on their own to compete with stronger, battle-tested New Dem candidates. It won’t work.”
