With this expansion, New Dem candidates make up 15 of the 20 members of the DCCC’s pivotal Red to Blue Program
Today, New Democrat Coalition Action Fund Chair Greg Stanton (AZ-04) issued a statement following the DCCC’s announcement of the first expansion of the Red to Blue program since its initial launch in February. Today’s announcement includes three New Dem-endorsed candidates – Jasmeet Bains (CA-22), Jessica Killin (CO-05), and Johnny Garcia (TX-35) – and expands the list of New Dem candidates in the program to 15, making up the majority of all Red to Blue members.
“I’m fired up for Jasmeet, Jessica, and Johnny. They’ve earned their place in this highly coveted program by generating the resources and grassroot support needed to flip tough seats in November,” said NewDem Action Fund Chair Greg Stanton. “The Red to Blue program seeks out only the strongest candidates fighting to win in the closest districts in the country, and those are the New Dems. Our candidates were the only ones to successfully flip seats in the 2024 election, and we’re well-positioned to deliver the majority in 2026. New Dems will continue to bolster the best candidates to win back the House.”
