DCCC Names 20 New Dem Members to Frontline List for 2026 Cycle

NewDem AF Chair Haley Stevens: “New Dems will be at the center of the Democratic effort to hold the front line and take back the House this cycle.”

Today, NewDem Action Fund Chair Haley Stevens (MI-11) issued a statement following the DCCC’s announcement of Frontline Members for the 2026 election cycle.

New Dem Members constitute 20 of the 26 House Democrats on the initial Frontline list, including nine incumbents, eleven freshman New Dems, and eight Members who flipped seats from red-to-blue in the 2024 election cycle.

“Each of our 20 New Dem Frontliners are battle-tested, capable of winning races despite razor thin margins and political headwinds,” said Chair Haley Stevens. “From our perennial Frontliners to new Members facing reelection for the first time, New Dems are fully committed to bringing every one of these exceptional lawmakers back to Congress in 2026. New Dems protected 20 Frontline Members on our way to preventing a red wave in 2024, and we’ll be at the center of the Democratic effort to hold the Frontline and take back the House in this must-win cycle.”
