Today, New Democrat Coalition Action Fund Chair Annie Kuster (NH-02), Chair-elect Brad Schneider (IL-10), and New Dem Action Fund Chair Haley Stevens (MI-11) issued a statement following House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries’ announcement that current DCCC Chair and New Dem Chair Emeritus Suzan DelBene (WA-01) will serve a second term as head of the House Democrats’ campaign operation.
“Both as Chair of the New Dems and most recently as Chair of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, Suzan has demonstrated an ability to lead large, diverse groups and deliver results for her colleagues and the American people. Under her thoughtful and steady hand, House Democrats withstood national headwinds to achieve a net gain of two seats in the 2024 cycle. House Republicans will have the narrowest House majority in more than 100 years and work has already begun to win back the House in 2026. New Dems are confident that with Chair DelBene once again at the helm of the DCCC, we will deliver a House Democratic majority in two years, if not sooner.”
