ICYMI: Chart-Topping Common Ground Ranking: NewDems are Named The Most Bipartisan Members of Congress

NewDem Leader Rep. Susie Lee Named the MOST Bipartisan, Ranking Higher than any other Member of the U.S. House, Senate or Governor's Office

Washington, DC  – This week, NewDems were overwhelmingly named the most bipartisan Members of Congress, with Congresswoman Susie Lee (NV-03) being named the MOST bipartisan on the Common Ground Scorecard for her ongoing efforts to work across party lines in Congress to deliver real results for Nevadans. With a score of 106 out of 100, Congresswoman Lee now holds the highest bipartisan score of any elected office holder, or candidate, in the nation – ranking higher in achieving common ground than any other member of the U.S. House, Senate or Governor’s Office.

Ten out of the 24 House Members, Senators and Governors named are Members of the New Democrat Coalition, including Abigail Spanberger (VA-07), Derek Kilmer (WA-06), Elissa Slotkin (MI-07), Angie Craig (MN-02), Dean Phillips (MN-03), Ed Case (HI-01), David Trone (MD-06), Don Davis (NC-01) and, Scott Peters (CA-50). You can find the full list of rankings here.

“I was elected because I promised to come to Washington to get things done for the people of Nevada’s 3rd District,” said Congresswoman Lee. “The only way to do that is to work together and find common ground. At this point in our country’s history, the stakes are too high, and the time frame is too short to be bogged down by partisan bickering or political inaction.”

“As NewDems, we wholeheartedly believe in bridging the gap between Republicans and Democrats to deliver common sense solutions for the American people,” said NewDem Chair Annie Kuster. “Susie Lee and all the NewDem lawmakers named, fully embody this approach to governing and have proven to be strong leaders and fierce advocates for their communities. I’m proud to work with such an impressive group of Members and I look forward to continuing our work together to break through the hyper partisan gridlock in Washington.”
