NewDems Congratulate Jevin Hodge on Becoming the Democratic Nominee in Arizona’s First Congressional District

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Last night, the New Democrat Coalition Action Fund celebrated the Democratic primary victory of NewDem-endorsed candidate Jevin Hodge for Arizona’s First Congressional District. In November, he will face Republican incumbent Rep. David Schweikert in the newly redistricted AZ-01.

“Jevin Hodge’s primary victory demonstrates that Arizonans want leaders who will focus on finding commonsense solutions to America’s toughest problems,” said NewDem Action Fund Chair Brad Schneider. “Jevin is a pragmatic leader whose experience helping businesses, non-profits, and local governments address pressing issues makes him uniquely qualified to flip this competitive seat and ensure we maintain our Democratic House majority.”

“I’m honored to be the Democratic nominee for Arizona's First Congressional District and we’re ready to take the fight to November," said Jevin Hodge (AZ-01). The Arizona GOP is out-of-step with the common-sense solutions Arizona families are looking for and I plan to change that!”
