Washington, D.C. — Today, New Democrat Coalition Action Fund Chair Annie Kuster (NH-02) issued the following statement on Vice President Kamala Harris’ nomination acceptance speech at the Democratic National Convention:
“Last night, Vice President Harris capped off the Democratic National Convention by laying out her vision for the next four years – a vision of freedom, security, and prosperity for the American people. In stark contrast to Donald Trump’s agenda of hate, revenge, and total control, Kamala Harris showed that she will fight to uplift every American regardless of race, religion, gender or zip code.
“From building an economy that works for American families and safeguarding Americans’ fundamental freedoms to making our communities safer and lowering costs on essentials like housing and health care, Vice President Harris made it clear that leading from the center is the best way to deliver real results on the most important issues facing our country.
“Over the next 74 days, New Dems will fight harder than we ever have to take back the House and get Vice President Harris and Governor Tim Walz into the White House. Once they win in November, we look forward to strengthening our partnership to reject extremism, govern from the middle out, and return normalcy, common sense, and pragmatism to Washington.”
