ICYMI: NewDem Members & Candidates are Competing in the Top Races to Watch in 2022

Washington, D.C. - NewDem Members and endorsed candidates are in the most competitive races in the country and are working tirelessly to maintain the Democratic House Majority in the 2022 midterm elections. Out of the 39 DCCC Frontline Members, 26 are Members of the New Democrat Coalition, and many have been rated the top races to watch this cycle.

In 2018, NewDem Members and candidates delivered Democrats the majority by flipping 32 seats blue. In 2020, we held our majority by protecting 22 Frontline Members and were the only ideological caucus in Congress to flip seats from red to blue. So far in 2022, NewDems have endorsed 28 candidates to help Democrats keep blue districts and flip red seats. These mainstream candidates are overwhelmingly winning primaries over far-left opponents. It’s clear NewDem Members and candidates will once again be key to keeping Democratic control of the House.

Check out the NewDem races that have been rated the top races to watch this cycle. Bolded names are NewDem Members and candidates.
